sights and sounds

on saturday my family flew off to penang on a short holiday..

airasia..the very plane we sat to penang.. here at the bayan lepas airport.

ok, here we are at the arrival hall.. the whole place is bluish..

mmm..yummy..lol..this was what i ate for lunch after arriving.. the pinkish thingy is actually 'ais kacang' , but the penangnites style can add ice cream of fruits.

after lunch, we checked in. then my mum's good friend brought us around town.. went to check out the new shopping mall..queensbay mall. real nice place.. here's where we stopped for some coke..nothing to do so i took this pic..lol

end of day 1...

day2: rise and shine! splendid morning at the beach..first we went to island plaza..had lunch there..then we went on a 'tour'..wasn't meant to be..but we sat the public bus from its first stop to its last stop cause we missed our stop..lol

yeap, you guessed it.. we went and watch chronicles of narnia : prince caspian. real nice show. better than the first one.

after the movie, we walked past this hotel called the g hotel.. kononnya hotel ini is the most expensive in penang..lol. 5 star somemore.. well to see whether it's truly worthy of its status., we when and check out the hotel.. first thing we did was of course the toilets.haha. see the sign.. we didn't noe which toilet is which.. almost went into the ladies..*paiseh. anyway just nice my dad stomachache.. so when and use the toilet.. he gave it a thumbs down.. the toilet was dark yet blackish.. wall panels all black. well, give credit to them.. the reception was real stylish.. never seen a hotel like its kind before.. except for the toilets weren't worthy of a 5 star status..

after checking the hotel out, we continued walking down gurney drive..came to this famous hawker centre. i didn't dare take pics to proof it cause later everyone thought i trying to a paparazzi.XD

well ok, lets let the picture speak for itself eh? well, if your mouth starts to water already.. this is just the beginning of the penang food galore.. what happen to the other pics?hehe. i was too busy eating to bother to take them.haha. sorry.

well that's the end of my trip to penang.. the next day we headed straight for the airport.. and home sweet home.
