of flag day and donations

flag day is underway again this time of the year.
to all who donated last year: thank you! hope you do this year!

i did my first full day yesterday. was at caltex the whole day from 7am till 5.30pm.
one after the other owners of cars were ask for their kind donations.though some weren't as kind.
motorcyclist, you guys are just awesome! and special thanks to kak fadlihah ( an attendant i got to know during my stint there) for helping me ask for donations and for helping me defend against some not really nice attendants who tried to chase me and my friends away.

another attendant i met was this malay dude.sorry bang, can't remember your name. nice dude. his bro couldn't get into ec though he got 4a's 1 b, so he wanted to know why. from then we talk somemore. football to bola tampar. says he's an ex- st. joseph boy.wow.pandai main bola tampar man. congrats to this dude, he UNTUNG cause he sold more petrol than anyone in the station that day. dapat bonus seh. but tak jadi wanna 'belanja'. it's ok.

today was also fun.. i was at caltex again with nabil in search for more donations. this time both the two attendants took lift i guess. so we had to face all the jeers and remarks from the rest of the attendants. at last we had to leave cause they succeeded this time in persuading their 'head' to ask us to leave. so off we went, to the customs.. didn't do much..mostly just sitting around resting.

then lim came and asked senior for permission to go to taman kolam air area to collect donations. so, me, lim,shaarvin,pang and derek set off there. little did we know 3 hours of non stop walking was awaiting us. in the end after 3 hours, we were 'roasted' under the scorching sun of a bright july morning. lim, pang, me had this reddish brown skin. tsk tsk. derek says he tak ada wor. i couldn't really see the difference. for shaarvin, erhem.hehe. wasn't any difference really. no offence. XD. maybe cause he was the only one using the umbrella for a while. for the story in detail on what we did whilst we were there..lim shall give an account in detail. =)
